If there’s one life that we are to maintain at all cost, it is to be a life between God and you.

Joshua 9:14
(a promise made in God’s name is to be followed through; irrevocable)

1. He listened to God.
2. Joshua obeyed with no questions (he simply obeyed)

“Failures make us become passionate people”

“Miracles happen in the context of obedience… Doing things with the grace of God…”

Joshua 10:10
(God fights for us)

“Whether we like it or not, asking is the rule of the Kingdom —Charles Spurgeon”

“If you may have everything by asking in His Name, and nothing without asking, I beg you to see how absolutely vital prayer is. —Charles Spurgeon”

3. He dared to ask for the impossible.

Joshua 10:13
(Miracle of a sun standing still; the only time that SUN LITERALLY STOOD STILL)

I have never felt so resigned as I do now. It isn’t the sigh-of-relief kind. It is like a constant tug that makes you want to do something but can’t, or I suppose, rather not.

I used to have to say or do what I feel I needed to, or it would keep nagging at me. This, whatever this is, it does still, more constantly. The difference is, it’s like watching yourself so helpless in front of you. It feels like you want to do something, but because it’s a free pass to letting you see reality- played by yourself- flash before you, over and over, you are tied up and is not supposed to do anything- at all. You’re allowed to close your eyes if it gets too hard to watch— yet you don’t want to. You don’t know why, but do not want to miss a moment.

Yes, I know, I am not making sense even. Ha. Sue me.

I didn’t want you to leave and so we stayed. Now, I know you would leave soon, and this time, I pray you find what your heart searches for. It’s never where we want to be that we find what we look for. At times,

“we don’t always know what we want. And not til something is filling the need we didn’t know we had,”

that we can say, we’ve hit home.

“… People always leave…” but they always come back.

In silence I’d be cheering you on tiger! And be winking in the sidelines.

<Isaiah 3:11
(What becomes of a society- including a household- when youths & women are the influences)

The quality of a father can be seen in the goals, dreams and aspirations he sets not only for himself, but for his family [Reed Markham]

1 Chronicles 7:30
[Story of Asher (means happy) on how he leads his family]

What it is to be a good father:

1. Good father raises sons who are leaders in the home.
2. Good father raises children who are excellent.
– it takes being involved in the lives of your children
– it always starts with the character of the person

1 Chronicles 1:40
(excellence does run in the family)

3. Good father raises children who are warriors.
– teaches children to fight for the right reasons— for something important.

4. Good father raises children who become mentors.

1 Chronicles 7:40
(how the children of Asher became heads of the princes)

– make decisions in front of your children.
– disciple to your children, to make them disciples themselves.

2 Timothy 2:2
(fathers themselves must have spirituality to teach spirituality to their children)

… it takes bravery from the father, to raise brave children.

1 Corinthians 11:3 (who the head of the household is: of man- Christ; of woman- man; of Christ- God)

Three Important Elements in setting direction of your family:

1. Vision
– directing your family with choices in life
2. Motivation
– what fires a man up to get the family going
3. Preparation
– what to do to get somewhere (goals, dreams)
– what a man dreams for his family to bring them to a certain direction.

I saw this ad around. It starts in a seemingly positive note, with how the world is not round.

Well if I am to see the world, essentially, it is composed of corners where people and opportunities meet.

The illustration however, shows a pyramid— which is the goal, really; to create a network in a pyramid formation. In the triangle, the highest earner CEO is at the top of the chain. At the bottom are the employees. They apparently, cannot earn as much as the CEO does, because they get paid for their time, and not their performance.

This marketing promotion belies its goal. Stating that the world is not round, is a declaration of a constant fact. We all agree, CEOs earn more than the ones who are at the bottom of the pyramid. Yes, there is such a thing as UNEQUAL OPPORTUNITIES between individuals. It is because of the fact that there is UNEQUAL CAPACITY among individuals too. Let us call it ‘just compensation’.

The main goal is, “let us build your dreams together”. Very noble intention. Just let them, those who are above the pyramid, build your dreams with you. Halt! Don’t flare those nostrils just yet. They build your dreams together with you, doesn’t mean you’re invited to build theirs— together with them— too.

Really, the obvious is just being magnified here. A CEO earns more, and so does the owner or the first few ones of this business deal. One of the many differences is that as an employee, you get paid based on your rendered time, BUT, you weren’t hired because you have time to give. You got the job because you have skills— that can take you to the top.

As for this business venture— irrelevantly compared to a round world— they should have stuck to marketing the benefits. Though I would consider this kind of business. I know some who are into this.

I am quite psyched. I used to play this when I was 8 yrs old and I did think it is kind of funny bringing this kind of tiny guitar around.

Some things just keep bringing us back because our hearts remember what we have always loved…all along…_^

Very Tweerd

One of the strange things going on @twitter is the pattern of followers you get if you have an account which you choose to have zero followers on.

All of a sudden, you get these random flock of followers who have explicit rated website in their BIO, weird twitter handles, and strange avies. They appear to be trolls, but they don’t tag people.

Also, they don’t follow all together, at the same time. They just follow, on different random times or days, and their tweets are personal and censored.
